Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickles
- Ketchup and mustard optional
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix the ground beef, minced garlic, salt, and pepper
Form 4 equal-sized burger patties
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or heat a skillet over medium-high heat on the stovetop
Grill or pan-fry the burger patties to your desired level of doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare
While the burgers are cooking, mix the crumbled blue cheese, mayonnaise, chopped red onion, and chopped parsley in a small bowl to create a blue cheese sauce
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned
Assemble the burgers: Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun
Top with a burger patty, tomato slices, and pickles
Spoon a generous amount of blue cheese sauce over the burger toppings
Optionally, add ketchup and mustard to taste
Place the top bun half on each burger, and serve immediately
