This refreshing watermelon granita is infused with the zing of ginger syrup, creating a delightful summer treat.
Ingredients:
- 1 small watermelon, seeded and cubed
- 1/4 cup ginger syrup
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon finely grated fresh ginger
Instructions:
Using a blender, blend the watermelon until it is smooth
Put ginger syrup, lime juice, and grated ginger into the blender
Blend until everything is well mixed
It is best to put the mixture in a shallow dish and freeze it
Spread and mix the ingredients with a fork every half hour until they turn into icy crystals, which should take about two to three hours
Put the drink in chilled glasses and, if you want, top them off with fresh mint leaves
