Hazelnut Chocolate Pumpkin Cake Bars

These delicious paleo-friendly Hazelnut Chocolate Pumpkin Cake Bars are a great treat. They blend the delicate sweetness of pumpkin with the rich flavors of chocolate and hazelnuts. Ideal as a nutritious treat

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup hazelnut flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease an 8x8 inch 20x20 cm baking pan

In a mixing bowl, combine the hazelnut flour, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt

In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms

Fold in the dark chocolate chips

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes

Once cooled, cut into bars or squares and enjoy
