Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, mixing well
Stir in the chocolate chips
Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets
Bake in the preheated oven for about 9 to 11 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely
