  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions:

If you soaked chickpeas, drain and rinse them

You can put them in a food processor with garlic, onion, cilantro, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, and baking soda

Mix it up until its very finely ground and can be squished together

The bowl of the food processor might need to be scraped down more than once

Four burger patties should be made from the chickpea mixture

On a baking sheet, put them

Then, put them in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to work

Set the Tzatziki sauce aside while the patties chill

In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, mint, lemon juice, salt, and pepper

Put it in the fridge until youre ready to serve it

Set the grill or pan on medium-high heat

Add a little olive oil to the patties and cook for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are nicely browned and warm all the way through

You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are just barely browned

Put a falafel patty on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers

Add red onion, tomato slices, cucumber slices, and lettuce on top

Add the Tzatziki sauce on top of the toppings

After you put the top half of the bun on top, your Falafel Burgers with Tzatziki are ready to be served
